WHAT IS A DIGITAL NOMAD?
For many, being a digital nomad is a dream, a lifestyle and an opportunity to travel and reside in different countries without having to stop working or wait for vacations.
This is a professional who does not have a stable place of residence or a stable place to work. Taking advantage of technology and the internet, the digital nomad can live and work from anywhere in the world. This freedom of movement to work and live has increased significantly since 2020 just as COVID-10 infiltrated our lives and with it restrictions on movement and socializing. This fact favored remote work, causing an exodus of workers to various parts of the world.
Currently the leading country in hosting digital nomads is Indonesia, followed by Mexico, Thailand and Spain in fifth place, according to a study by Passport-Photo online.
Spain intends with the STARTUPS LAW to attract the world's digital nomads and climb position in the ranking of countries chosen by these workers.
